Steve Nash - Jason Kidd ad for NBA playoffs

The synchronization of these two players talking is amazing. They blink together, talk together, and then their eyes don't blink for a long time, all in synchronicity.

Esmee Denters duet with One Republic, "Stop and Stare"

Review:  I love this duet.  Esmee Denters is fantastic, but the One Republic singer kind of steals the show.  It's his song, though, so he should. If they sold this as a single, it could sell over 1 million copies.

8 Teenagers charged for beating of high school girl

Justin Bieber, 13 years old, plays guitar like August Rush movie

If you haven't seen the movie August Rush, you should (click here for the trailer) -- it's a great, inspiring movie about an orphan boy who is a musical genius born to two musicians.  In the movie, August Rush plays the guitar kind of like a drum.  Here on YouTube Justin Bieber attempts to do the same thing.  It's been a while since I saw the movie, but I think the movie version was more impressive (although who knows if it is was fake or not).  In any event, this Justin Bieber kid seems like an amazing musical talent!

Does YouTube have a serious "girl fight" problem?

I've already written about this problem of "girl fight" videos on YouTube.  See here and here.  With the recent felony case of 8 high school girls and guys beating up another girl in Florida, it finally is getting attention in the national press.  This NBC segment is quite good, given the constraints of national news on TV.

It's interesting that the judge in the case forbid the high school students who engaged in the beating from going on MySpace or YouTube, or it sounds like the Internet in general. YouTube's user policy states "Graphic or gratuitous violence is not allowed. If your video shows someone getting hurt, attacked, or humiliated, don't post it."  But it appears to be pretty easy to find videos of girls fighting and also guys.  Here's one that has been up since December 2007 and has over 160,000 views.

WARNING: Graphic violence and language.  Viewer discretion.
